Insulation has the dual benefits of precise temperature control and safety. The dome top comes standard with a hydrator along with recirculation paths for vorlauf, sparge and HERMS.

The geometry works together with the rakes and false bottom allow for a fluffy mash bed while still allowing a clear transfer of wort and remaining sugars to the brew kettle. When the mashing is complete the manway in conjunction with the plow allows for easy removal of spent grains.
