Our 5.5 gallon hopback is a versatile addition to any nano brewery, micro brewery orbrewhouse wanting to improve the quality of their brew. This hop back contains a pressure lid and a false bottom and is designed to help you get amazing hop flavor and aroma. It can also be used as a yeast brink, which is a storage vessel for your yeast.
This hopback holds approximately 19 to 30 oz. of whole hops.
- Material: Premium virgin 304 stainless steel
- Capacity: approximately 19 oz. to 30 oz. of whole hops
- Use with: Up to 4 BBL batches
Uses of this hopback:
- The hop back is used between your brew kettle and wort chiller
- The hot wort passes through and is exposed to the hops for a short time
- With the pressure capability of this unit, you can use your wort pump to pump from your kettle into the hop back
