Trigger handle butterfly valves provide speed control through resistance in conditions where fixed speed pumps are used. They offer more control than a 3-position pull handle butterfly valve. For the most flow control combined with optimum sanitation, use a tri clamp diaphragm valve instead.
Use a Tri clamp trigger butterfly valves as either a shutoff service, or for coarse flow control to reduce volume due to the many stops.
