Use a Tri clamp trigger butterfly valves as a shutoff service, or for coarse flow control to reduce volume due to the many stops.
In circumstances where fixed speed pumps are used, trigger handle butterfly valves offer more control than a 3-position pull handle butterfly valve and provide speed control through resistance. For the most flow control and optimum sanitation, use a tri clamp diaphragm valve instead.
