Tri clamp trigger butterfly valves are commonly used in circumstances where fixed speed pumps are used. They provide speed control through resistance and offer more control than a 3-position pull handle butterfly valve. For maximum flow control combined with optimum sanitation, use a tri clamp diaphragm valve instead.
