Tri clamp trigger butterfly valves can be used as either a shutoff service, or for coarse flow control to reduce volume due to the many stops.
Trigger handle butterfly valves provide speed control through resistance In circumstances where fixed speed pumps are used and they offer more control than a 3-position pull handle butterfly valve. For optimum flow control combined with maximum sanitation, use a tri clamp diaphragm valve instead.
