Tri clamp trigger butterfly valves can be used as either a shutoff service, or for coarse flow control to reduce volume due to the many stops.

Trigger handle butterfly valves provide speed control through resistance and they offer more control than a 3-position pull handle butterfly valve, particularly in circumstances where where fixed speed pumps are used.

For maximum flow control combined with optimum sanitation, use a tri clamp diaphragm valve instead.
