Use a Tri clamp trigger butterfly valves as either a shutoff service, or for coarse flow control to reduce volume due to the many stops.
In circumstances where fixed speed pumps are used, trigger handle butterfly valves provide speed control through resistance and they offer more control than a 3-position pull handle butterfly valve. For maximum flow control combined with optimum sanitation, use a tri clamp diaphragm valve instead.
