Use a Tri clamp trigger butterfly valve for coarse flow control to reduce volume due to the many stops or as a shutoff service.
In circumstances where fixed speed pumps are used, trigger handle butterfly valves provide speed control through resistance and they offer more control than a 3-position pull handle butterfly valve. For maximum flow control combined with optimum sanitation, use a tri clamp diaphragm valve instead.
